Alessandro MEacci
Alessandro Meacci (Rome) is a pianist, composer, researcher, and cultural innovator. He is the winner of the Federico II Prize (XIV edition, Rai 2 – Teatro Verdi di Brindisi) for his opera Cleopatra, a work recognized by Confindustria as a model of cultural entrepreneurship. In 2025, the opera debuted at the Teatro Politeama in Catanzaro and the Teatro Palladium in Rome, receiving widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics.
His music is performed in prestigious national and international venues, including London’s Royal Albert Hall, where Daniele Paolillo performed Postludium in 2021. Meacci made his recording debut at the age of eighteen with Tetraktys, followed by Revolution X (2020), Essential (2023), and Inside (2024). Since 2021, he has collaborated with RAI (Italian National Broadcasting) as a composer for programs such as Geo and Porta a Porta, and frequently appears as a guest pianist on Rai 2.
He is the co-founder and co-artistic director of OMA – Officina Musica Attuale alongside Gianpaolo Salbego, and co-directs the Fortuna in Musica festival at the National Archaeological Museum of Palestrina with Valerio Vicari. With a catalog of over one hundred works published by Agenda Produzioni, EROM, Sconfinarte, and Silente Classic / Multiforce, where his musical activities are managed by Tiziano Giupponi, he has received commissions from institutions such as the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Haydn Foundation, Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Roma Tre Orchestra, Festival d’Autunno and Ente dei Concerti di Pesaro.
His compositions have been staged in renowned venues, including the Konzerthaus Bozen, Teatro Sociale in Trento, Kurhaus Meran, Teatro Argentina in Rome, and the Auditorium Ennio Morricone. He regularly conducts lectures and masterclasses at the University of the Arts in Tirana, the Conservatories of Cosenza and Salerno, and the Fondazione Levi in Venice. Currently is a full piano professor, he also serves as the Educational & Music Project Manager for the Roma Tre Orchestra. He holds degrees in Piano and a honors degree (Lode) in Composition, with specializations in Electronic Music and Music Informatics.
